This position requires hands-on experience in welding pipe systems, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced construction environment. Candidates must pass a pipe weld test onsite in Chester, VA before starting.

Responsibilities:

Perform pipe welding in accordance with project specifications and safety standards

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols

Fit, align, and weld components using approved processes and techniques

Inspect welds for quality and accuracy

Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area

Follow all site safety and company policies

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of pipe welding experience (industrial or construction environment preferred)

Ability to pass a pipe weld test (required)

Proficiency in SMAW, GTAW, or other pipe welding methods

Strong understanding of welding procedures and safety standards

Ability to work overtime and travel if needed
