Your primary duties and responsibilities will be:
- Lead Operations: Provide direction, coaching, and accountability for all night-shift production activities, ensuring company standards and goals are achieved.
- Safety Champion: Enforce safety policies, conduct regular checks, and promote a culture where personal and team safety are top priorities.
- Production Oversight: Oversee machine setups, start-ups, and production runs; troubleshoot issues; and ensure schedules are completed on time.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor product quality through inspections and audits, ensuring all specifications and customer requirements are consistently met.
- Team Development: Train and mentor Shift Leaders, Operators, and Assistants; foster collaboration, problem-solving, and respect across the team.
- Resource Management: Ensure the correct materials and processes are used; partner with maintenance to address equipment needs promptly.
- Communication: Share daily updates, escalate issues as needed, and keep management informed of performance, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen performance.
- Housekeeping & Compliance: Ensure plant cleanliness, policy adherence, and accurate completion of production paperwork.
- Other responsibilities as assigned
We believe the successful candidate will have:
- High School graduate
- 3-5+ years of production supervisory experience in a manufacturing plant environment.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Lean manufacturing experience a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $74,000 – $77,000 (dependent on market and experience)
- Bonus and incentive programs to increase earning potential
- Hours will be 1:30pm - Midnight Monday through Thursday
