Description
The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that Watchpoint services meet established quality standards and customer expectations. They implement and maintain quality control processes, conduct audits, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.

This position reports to a warehouse/office located in Milpitas, CA and requires full-time on-site work. Remote work is not offered.
The starting pay for this position is expected to be $80,000 - $90,000 annually. Exact compensation is based on skills, experience, education, and location.

Job Duties
- Maintain quality control procedures, standards and documentation.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections. Assess processes to ensure compliance with standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with management team and the customer to modify standard operating procedures (SOP) and directs execution.
- Monitor service failures through the Salesforce Incident Management tool and manages the corrective action process.
- Analyze data and draft comprehensive reports. Track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends and determine root cause of quality issues.
- Mentor and guide supervisors and team members. Provide training and support, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and other industry regulations
- Drive continuous improvement, implementing initiatives to improve quality, reduce errors, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Enhance Watchpoint’s customer satisfaction score through proactive customer outreach and conducting ongoing problem resolution discussions.
- Enhance work instructions and provide training to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Requirements
- Proficient use of computer systems and applications (MS Office, Salesforce) as trained/required.
- Able to deliver quality results consistently and on schedule. Self-motivated and follows through on initiatives with management support.

- Demonstrated record of integrity, ethical conduct and accountability in all professional responsibilities.

- Incorporates a continuous improvement approach; adept at finding the root cause and drafting corrective solutions. Capable of exercising sound judgment.
- Uses excellent time management skills to implement identified priorities and manage resources effectively.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in quality management or business administration and a minimum of three years of experience with quality control or equivalent combination of education and industry experience is required.
- Minimum three years of experience leading an ISO program with auditing experience.
- Certified Quality Manager (CQM) preferred
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
Physical Requirements
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's essential functions require the following physical demands: operating a computer, remaining stationary for most of the shift, and occasionally moving about the workspace. The person in this position frequently exchanges information using email and other electronic communication methods and must be able to observe and report on communication received via phone and computer.
