Demonstrate expertise in evidence-based literacy instruction, including foundational reading skills, vocabulary development, fluency and comprehension.
Strong knowledge of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS) for English Language Arts.
Experience working with diverse learners.
Excellent interpersonal and communicaiton skills.
Preferred Quaifications
New Jersey Reading Specialist Certification
Minimum of five years of successful classroom teaching experience in English Language Arts or a related subject
Prior experience as an instructional coach, literacy interventionist, or ELA supervisor
Experience supporting Special Education populations or multilingual learners
Proficiency in the use of i-Ready, LinkIt, or similar data analysis platforms to drive instructional decisions
Salary per the KEA Collective Bargaining Agreement ranging from $60,767 to $97,279
