About the Role:
The Resident Care Assistant plays a crucial role in providing high-quality support and care to residents in a retail trade environment. This position is focused on ensuring the well-being and comfort of residents by assisting them with daily activities and personal care needs. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or similar qualification.
- Previous experience in a caregiving role is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a retail or customer service environment.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Knowledge of basic health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and document residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for each resident.
