About the Role 

We are seeking a Logistics Specialist to join the Facilities Team at Intuitive Machines. This individual will be responsible for shipping, receiving, and coordinating material logistics across company offices and program locations. The Logistics Specialist will collaborate closely with the Inventory Specialist, Planners, and Facilities personnel to ensure efficient handling, tracking, and delivery of materials supporting engineering, manufacturing, and corporate operations.

Responsibilities 

• Manage daily shipping and receiving operations, including domestic and international shipments.
• Coordinate with program teams, planners, and inventory specialists to ensure materials are delivered where and when needed.
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments using company systems.
• Verify, label, and document incoming goods; ensure they meet specifications and are routed to the correct department.
• Support inventory control by updating records and communicating discrepancies to the Inventory Specialist.
• Assist with facility logistics, including movement of materials, equipment, and office supplies across departments and locations.
• Partner with Facilities and Security to manage freight deliveries, hazardous materials, and restricted shipments.
• Prepare and package outbound shipments to meet customer, vendor, or partner requirements.
• Collaborate with procurement and planning to ensure on-time delivery and receipt of program-critical items.
• Support periodic audits and cycle counts as part of inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Maintain shipping supplies, equipment, and organized work areas in compliance with company standards. 

Qualifications 

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with shipping platforms (FedEx, UPS, DHL) and freight forwarding processes.
• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move packages and materials as needed (up to 50 lbs).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across departments.
• Basic knowledge of import/export compliance is a plus.

Preferred 

• Experience supporting aerospace, manufacturing, or R&D environments.
• Knowledge of hazardous material handling, ITAR, and export control regulations.
• Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
• Prior experience supporting multi-site logistics or facilities operations.
