We are looking for a Mortgage Loan Servicing Specialist to ensure accurate and efficient servicing of our mortgage loan portfolio while providing exceptional customer care. This position plays a vital role in supporting our borrowers and maintaining the integrity of our loan operations from booking through payoff.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update mortgage loan accounts to ensure accuracy of payments, escrow activity, and account data.
- Process mortgage payments, payoffs, rate changes, and construction loan draws.
- Manage escrow accounts, including disbursement of taxes and insurance, escrow analysis, and borrower communication.
- Conduct periodic reviews of mortgage files for compliance with flood insurance and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and process releases, partial releases, and investor-related loan servicing activities.
- Balance general ledger accounts and manage post-closing quality control requests from investors.
- Support system upgrades, audits, and compliance reviews by providing accurate documentation.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in mortgage loan servicing, loan operations, or a related banking role preferred.
- Strong understanding of mortgage lending regulations and escrow administration.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and customer service skills with a commitment to confidentiality and teamwork.
