Investments Advisor

Description

The Investments Advisor manages the day-to-day project team delivery for the GXM Client onsite in Washington, DC five (5) days a week while ensuring compliance with government contracting regulations. This role executes delivery with financial funds analysis in coordination with the project team, while interfacing with the government client and ensuring compliance across the contract requirements. Limited travel to other government stakeholder locations for meetings each week as needed.


 Job Requirements


Educational 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution 
  • Master’s Degree - Desired

Minimum Skills and Experience

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • 10+ years of combined experience in venture capital, private equity/credit fund, direct investing, or development and deployment of Critical Technologies. 
  • Thorough understanding of capital strategies, venture capital, budgetary methods, practices, procedures, regulations, policies, and processes. 
  • Possess an understanding of critical technology topic areas & their associated markets 
  • Demonstrated track record of professional success, showcasing senior-level responsibilities and achievements. 
  • Exceptional leadership abilities and a proven track record of driving successful investment outcomes. 
  • Advanced analytical capabilities, including extensive experience in quantitative modeling and risk assessment. 
  • Ability to nurture relationships across organizations and leverage strong communication skills to serve as an inter-agency liaison. 
  • Deep investment judgment and a comprehensive understanding of risk/reward profiles.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with interagency working groups.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing small business environment, balancing individual team member, project team, and company strategic needs.

Security Clearance

  • Top Secret with Sensitive Compartmented Information eligibility and current background investigation

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Supervise, mentor and lead project team supporting GXM client.
  • Serve as key liaison between Government COR, Client and GXM leadership.
  • Provide financial analysis, insights and recommendations on overall project delivery.
