Paralegal - Experienced FMOL Health at FMOLHS

1. Provides Legal Support
   1. Drafts legal documents with attorney oversight.
   2. Assists with review and analysis of medical staff issues including, but not limited to, peer review, bylaws and companion documents as requested.
   3. Understands statutory, regulatory and case law on a range of issues including, but not limited to, contractual agreements, employment issues, regulatory issues, corporate matters, medical staff issues, policies and procedures, reimbursement issues and other issues as needed.
   4. Supports and participate in the continuous assessment and improvement of the quality of services provided.
   5. Performs legal research and drafts legal documents with attorney oversight, maintains confidential information and communicate with professional staff.
   6. Handles more complex situations, at the direction of the attorneys
2. Contract Management Support
   1. Coordinates contract requests including communications with outside counsel as needed.
   2. Reviews and drafts contracts including, but not limited to, physician contracts, contracts for sale and lease of property, consultant contracts, service contracts, confidentiality contracts and other contracts as requested.
   3. Oversees the use of the Contract Management databases including ensuring all contracts in the organization are properly included and documented.
   4. Responsible for day-to-day training for Contract Management databases users and/or coordination of more extensive training as required.
   5. Supports and participates in the continuous improvement of the quality of services provided including developing and implementing procedures regarding Contract Management databases.

Bachelor's Degree, or Paralegal certification or equivalent experience
