This position is eligible to participate in the Cornman Farms hourly tip pool, which averages an additional $5 per hour.
This is a temporary position running from November 14–23, 2025
These are the required shifts:
- Friday, November 14 11am-7pm
- Saturday, November 15 11am-7pm
- Sunday, November 16 1pm-9:00pm
- Monday, November 17 1pm-9:00pm
- Tuesday, November 18 1pm-9:00pm
- Wednesday, November 19 12pm-8:00pm
- Thursday, November 20 12pm-8:00pm
- Friday, November 21 12pm-8:00pm
- Saturday, November 22 12pm-8:00pm
- Sunday, November 23 12pm-8:00pm
Performance Expectations - Essential Functions
- Arrives on time for all scheduled shifts
- Efficiently washes plates, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, cutting boards, and delicate china utilizing automatic dishwasher and/or 3 compartment sink
- Properly washes, stacks, and stores china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers.
- Changes water of machines and sinks every two hours, or more often as required by business levels, and properly uses chemical dilutions set by EcoLab.
- Sweeps and mops floors in dishroom
- Takes out the trash and rinses garbage cans as needed
- Properly unloads, sorts and stores clean dishes, glasses & equipment appropriately
- Keeps unwashed dishes organized
- Cleans out drains and drain covers
- Uses existing systems to put away rental items
- Follows all standard operating procedures
- Follows and complies with all applicable health and sanitation procedures, as well as Zingerman’s safety guidelines
- Follows and upholds all Zingerman’s Cornman Farms standards
- Completes all other tasks as assigned
- Has experience working in a commercial or restaurant setting
- Works at a high level of sanitation and safety
- Able to work weekends
- Can work long shifts that require standing/walking/bending throughout shift
- Able to thrive in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
- Stooping, Kneeling, and Crouching: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist, requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles
- Handling: Seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands.
- Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
- Near Vision: Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less
- Lifting: Raising or lowering an object, at least 50 lbs, from one level to another (includes upward pulling)
- Carrying: Transporting an object, up to 65 lbs, usually holding it in the hands or arms, or on the shoulder
- Standing: Remaining on one's feet in an upright position at a workstation without moving about for an extended period of time
- Feeling: Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature, or texture, by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips
