Our team is dedicated to delivering top-tier customer service, and we are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Automotive Service Receptionist to join our thriving team in Chicago.
The Service Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for customers entering the dealership’s service department. This role is responsible for greeting customers, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and performing a variety of administrative tasks to support the service team. The Service Receptionist also provides ad hoc assistance to other departments, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service throughout the dealership.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
·       Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner upon arrival to the service department.
·       Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries, and schedule service appointments as needed.
·       Assist with scanning and filing documents, work orders, and repair records.
·       Provide ad hoc administrative support
·       Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service reception area.
·       Assist with key control and vehicle drop-off/pick-up procedures when necessary.
·       Support the service team with data entry, record keeping, and report preparation.
·       Handle customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism, escalating issues as appropriate.
·       Perform additional clerical or administrative tasks as requested to support dealership operations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
·       High School Diploma or equivalent required.
·       Prior receptionist or administrative experience preferred, automotive industry experience is a plus.

JOB KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS and ABILITIES
·       Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
·       Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
·       Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and dealership management systems (DMS) preferred.
·       Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
