This role requires direct engagement with warfighter end-users, fleet stakeholders, and development teams to facilitate the seamless deployment, integration, and operational sustainment of advanced software and hardware systems across afloat, shore, and submarine platforms. The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring mission readiness by ensuring key (C2) capabilities are successfully installed and operational. Education/Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent
• IATII/CSWF compliant
• Security+
• Required Clearance:
  • US Citizenship
  • Active Secret Clearance 
    • Must be and eligible for upgrade to a Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance

Required Skills and Experience:

• Two (2+) years of professional experience with supporting IT Networks
• Configuration & Troubleshooting: Proficient in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting various network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto
• Cloud Networking: Familiarity with managing cloud-based network infrastructures on platforms such as AWS, Azure, hybrid cloud connectivity
• Network Protocols: In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, etc., with the ability to implement and troubleshoot
• Virtualization: Experience with network virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Team Collaboration: Proven ability collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve network objectives
• Platforms: Have working knowledge of a client/server architectures with both Windows/Linux
• Containerization: Familiarity with containers and related applications (ex. Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Scripting/Automation: Working experience with PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, Vbs, or equivalent
• Experience with installation, troubleshooting, remote support with C4I Tactical Networks and/or PoRs (ex. CANES, GCCS-M, DCGS-N)
• Working knowledge of Agile Core Services (ACS) and associated applications (e.g., OpenShift, RedHet, etc.)
• Successful track record with performing shipboard network and/or application installations/integrations
• Providing Tier 1 – 3 support, both remote and onsite
