WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will manage the accurate and timely processing of multi-jurisdictional payrolls across Canada, ensuring compliance with all federal and provincial regulations. You’ll prepare and reconcile bonus runs, vacation pay, terminations, and ROEs for both salaried and hourly employees. You will maintain adherence to SOX controls and audit standards, prepare journal entries and month-end reports, and support year-end activities including T4s, RL1s, WSIB, and Employee Health Tax reconciliations. You’ll also assist with the creation of T2200 and TP64.3 documents, perform detailed payroll reconciliations, and analyze data to prepare accurate and timely reports. In this role, you’ll provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders and contribute to special projects and process improvements as needed.

WHAT YOU BRING
You bring a solid foundation in Canadian multi-province payroll processing, supported by 1–3 years of hands-on experience and enrolment or completion of the National Payroll Institute (PCP) certification. With a degree or diploma in Business or a related field, you demonstrate strong technical expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly intermediate to advanced Excel skills. You have working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now, Workday, payroll accounting and reconciliations, and experience supporting system upgrades or implementations. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and discreet, you excel at managing strict deadlines, analyzing data, and maintaining the confidentiality essential to payroll operations.
