Description
Position Summary
This position is responsible for supporting the DVO ITR Lead with arrangement and coordination of the physical movement and processing of Intransit Repair (ITR) vehicles (CAT A) to Ford repairs dealers and the final destination for CAT A units. This position will report to the Ford GSR manager and will be located onsite at the Ford Dearborn office. This position is part of a turnkey operation, which includes various types of services relating to damaged vehicle track and trace, follow up resolution, dispatching and daily reporting. This position is expected to provide a high standard of customer service and encompass all aspects of the ITR process.
Position Responsibilities:
- Authorize and validate the transfer of inventory value between ITR repair dealers
- Interface with dealers, manufacturer representatives and transportation partners to resolve outstanding issues
- Monitor and meet DVO targets per Ford guidelines
- Use manufacturer systems where needed for internal processes
- Coordinate and monitor entire process related to the disposition of damage vehicles
- Provide ad-hoc and predefined reports for internal and external customers
Qualifications
Essential Skills and Experience:
Education:
- High School Diploma required.
Training:
- Understanding of the automotive supply chain and transportation and the Intransit Repair dealer process as it relates to the manufacturer.
Skills:
- Proficiency with Windows based Word, Excel and Outlook
- Basic mainframe skills
- Ability to thoroughly investigate, analyze and make decisions based on evidence
- Ability to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction while resolving problems
- Good communication skills both written and oral
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work in a team environment
Experience:
- Automotive experience is preferred, with an understanding of the process for tracking intransit repair damaged vehicles.

Reporting to this position: Employees working on external customer account for claims analysis, DVO process & data analysis.
