Holden Dental Care is seeking an enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our team.  We have been proudly serving Holden for 40 years.  Our team strives to provide comprehensive dental care to patients from all walks of life, from essential preventive care to cosmetic dentistry.  As a Dental Assistant in our practice, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care and service to our patients, helping to create healthier smiles every day.  .


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with OSHA and infection control standards

  • Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures 

  • Take and process dental X-rays 

  • Review medical histories and update patient records accurately

  • Provide post-operative instructions and ensure patients feel comfortable and informed

  • Maintain inventory of dental supplies and restock operatories as needed

  • Prepare patients for exams and treatments

  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented atmosphere and deliver excellent patient experiences

Qualifications


Qualifications:

  • Valid and current MA State Dental Assistant License
  • Current and valid X-ray Certification
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • CPR & First Aid Certification
  • Knowledgeable of OSHA regulations and changes
  • Proficient with Microsoft office and Practice Management Software
