Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare administrative role, preferably in patient intake or scheduling.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information confidentially and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers required upon hire.

Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming patient intake calls and inquiries, providing clear and compassionate communication.

- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility prior to appointments to reduce billing issues.
- Maintain and update patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system with high attention to detail.
- Coordinate with clinical staff and other administrative teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and accommodate urgent patient needs.
- Provide patients with necessary pre-appointment instructions and follow-up information.
- Assist in tracking appointment metrics and reporting scheduling trends to management for continuous improvement.
