About the Department
The Foundation Administrative Associate of the Sandhills Community College Foundation has overall responsibility of creating donor acknowledgment letters, creating Foundation E-publications including email newsletter and social media posts, assisting staff with donor events, and assisting with annual mailings.
Position Duties

- Assist with coordination of Donor Correspondence:
- Prepare Thank You gift acknowledgment letters
- Support annual campaign mailings for all Foundation efforts
- Reconcile Business Office receipts with Thank You Letters
- Maintain scanned records and donor files in Etreive
- Crosstrain as backup for gift entry and database management for Director of Operations
- Support all Foundation data entry in CRM as needed and directed by Director of Operations
- Coordinate Foundation Tables at Culinary/Guarantors Luncheons
- Work with culinary faculty on seating arrangements
- Communicate with Foundation guests about reservations, transportation needs and menus
- Boomerang lunch data:
- Enter attendee data in CRM or create new constituents for attendees
- Work to capture attendee biographical notes – coordinate with other foundation staff as needed
- Coordinate with Director of Foundation Operations to facilitate this data entry
- Produce lunch attendee lists for Development and Donor Relation Committee review
- Support and staff other Foundation events as needed
- E-Publications, social media management and email marketing including regular newsletter
- Website calendar oversight
- Oversee Constant Contact coordination with Marketing Department for Newsletters
- Monthly campus newsletter email
- Coordinate and Maintain Alumni Outreach:
- Ordering of Graduate Walk bricks
- Ordering and distribution of Alumni pins at Commencement
- Boomerang: add alumni constituents as needed
- Work with Marketing Department on Alumni outreach efforts
- Work with Athletics on Alumni games – keep these records for the foundation and enter in CRM (Bloomerang) as needed.
