The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) requires an efficient and organized individual to provide administrative support to the Crime Free Multi-Housing Program. Responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as the EPS contact for multiple EPS and city-run programs (CFMH, CPTED, RISC, etc.), managing scheduling, inspections, training, compliance, and stakeholder communication.
  • Organize training sessions, inspections, and citywide activities, including venue booking, catering, and coordinating speakers. Ensure smooth onboarding for both public and EPS courses.
  • Review and distribute reports (e.g., addendums, geographical intelligence), track certifications, manage financial documentation, and support audits with accurate data and performance metrics.
  • Serve as the liaison between EPS, external agencies, and city departments, providing updates, responding to inquiries, and ensuring key decisions and reports are communicated effectively.
  • Oversee invoicing, billing, and financial tracking for program revenues and expenses, ensuring adherence to budgets and coordination with finance teams.
  • Handle various administrative tasks, including CARM management, CPU equipment procurement, and maintaining compliance documentation.
     

  • Completion of the twelfth (12th) school grade including business subjects related to word and information processing or completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved business school/college.
  • A minimum of three (3) years diversified word and information processing experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills while following established business rules
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook along with Niche, CPIC and JOIN
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain working partnerships, both internal and external
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience within a police environment and/or the Criminal Code would be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of FOIPP and/or PIPA would be considered an asset.
  • Applicants may be tested in a written and/or verbal format.

Hours of Work:
33.75 hours per week, Monday - Friday.  Hours of work may be subject to the terms and conditions of a variable hours of work program.

Salary Range: 
21M, Salary Grade: 012, $29.43 - $36.90 (Hourly), $1,986.70 - $2,491.10 (Bi-Weekly) $51,851 – 65,017 (Annually). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.
