Job Purpose:

To manage and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations for MEP projects, ensuring timely procurement, vendor coordination, inventory control, and cost-effective sourcing aligned with project timelines and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement & Sourcing:

    • Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for MEP materials and services.
    • Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure cost efficiency and quality.
    • Ensure timely procurement of materials as per project schedules.
  • Vendor & Supplier Management:

    • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
    • Monitor vendor performance and resolve supply issues proactively.
    • Conduct periodic audits and evaluations of vendor capabilities.
  • Inventory & Logistics:

    • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for material movement.
    • Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability.
    • Implement systems for tracking and controlling material usage.
  • Project Coordination:

    • Collaborate with project managers, engineering, and site teams to understand material requirements.
    • Ensure alignment of supply chain activities with project milestones.
    • Support in resolving site-level supply chain challenges.
  • Compliance & Documentation:

    • Ensure adherence to procurement policies and statutory compliance.
    • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery schedules, and vendor agreements.
    • Support internal and external audits related to SCM.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of MEP materials and supply chain processes.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or Supply Chain Management.
  • MBA or PG Diploma in SCM/Operations (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in SCM, preferably in MEP or construction projects.
