Position Summary:
Monitors the Library building week nights Monday through Thursday (maximum 19 hours per week during the regular semesters); report building maintenance issues to Facilities Services/Pritchard, report security issues to Campus Police, and supervises evening student workers.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining a library atmosphere
Responsible for the safety of students and the building in case of emergency
Supervises evening student workers and provides input for yearly evaluations
Reports cleaning, building maintenance, and safety issues to Library Administration
Required Qualifications:
High School/GED
Applicants should be responsible and self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and good references. Reliability is crucial.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of related library public services or relevant work experience.
Shift (assigned shifts will be based on the needs of the library)
M-Th, 5:45 pm – 10:30 pm.
Hours will be modified in the week leading up to finals and may include weekend hours and work hours until midnight.
