Job Title: Head of Membership Growth (6 Months FTC / Secondment Opportunity) INTERNAL CANDIDATES ONLY
Salary: Circa £65K per annum (pro-rata for 6 months)
Hours per week: 35
Location: At IOSH, we embrace hybrid working because we believe it's the key to achieving work-life balance, strategic success and fostering our collaborative culture. You’ll be required to work from our head office in Wigston, Leicester a minimum of 2 days per week (one of which will be a Tuesday). The remainder of your working hours will be undertaken from home.

About the role
This is a new, temporary role at IOSH. The Head of Membership Growth will be working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, to lead the membership input in scoping, developing and delivering market-leading membership value propositions for current and future members and OSH professionals globally. You will provide strategic insight and leadership to enhance the overall member experience for the full life-cycle of an OSH professional’s career, ensuring delivery of high-quality, data-informed & digitally enabled products and services to a range of markets. This role will be central to growing and strengthening our global membership community for the future, and align current and future delivery to aspiration 2 in IOSH’s aspirations and vision for the future.
What you'll bring
The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge and experience from the professional body sector, with experience of developing and delivering market-leading membership strategies for a global membership. The candidate will work with teams across IOSH to maximise the output and impact of data and analysis available and develop this to strategic implementation, so strong, collaborative leadership is vital, as are analytical skills and strong business and financial acumen.
Essential criteria
Understanding of working in a global organisation and of cultural differences and working practices
Demonstratable experience of developing and delivering engagement and services to a global stakeholder base.
Successful experience in the development and delivery of major projects.
Strong leadership skills to be able to lead and inspire stakeholders and drive collaboration
Experience in analysing markets, developing customer value propositions and developing products and services for these markets.
