Site Operations Manager
Location: Residential Group Home Setting
Reports to: Assistant Staffing Operations Director
About the Role

As a Site Operations Manager, you’ll lead and mentor Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and Shift Supervisors, ensuring clients receive exceptional care, skill development, and support. You’ll manage operations, maintain a welcoming and safe home environment, and serve as the key link between the site, families, and operational teams.

What You’ll Do
Client Support & Care
Oversee active treatment and skill-building for clients.
Ensure clients participate in community integration and the Enrichment Center by maintaining a dynamic activity calendar.
Serve as a liaison for clients’ families, conservators, and guardians when needed.
Collaborate with Program Managers and Primary Site Nurses to provide a holistic approach to client care.
Team Leadership & Development
Mentor, coach, and support DSPs and Shift Supervisors to foster professional growth.
Support hiring, onboarding, and placement of the best-qualified candidates.
Promote a collaborative work culture through employee engagement initiatives.
Address performance issues and provide guidance for improvement.
Operational Excellence
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment.
Ensure compliance with facility safety standards, state regulations, and documentation requirements.
Monitor budgets, scheduling, purchasing, and inventory.
Alternate on-call responsibilities, including weekend supervisory home visits.
Attend operational and site meetings to address client and staff needs.
Provide coverage to other sites as needed.
Administrative Responsibilities
Oversee payroll, scheduling, performance reviews, and corrective actions.
Track and update supply inventories weekly.
Participate in Safety Committee and Incident Management Meetings, completing follow-up actions as required.
Other Duties
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the mission and operational needs of OAC.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
3+ years of experience supporting clients in the ID/DD field.
2+ years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
Valid TN driver’s license.
CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
Professional Crisis Management (PCM) certification within 60 days of hire.
Skills & Competencies
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Effective time management and organizational abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and related applications.
Ability to lift and reposition up to 50 lbs; engage in bending, squatting, and other physical tasks.
Employees Supervised: Up to 30
