About the Department
Position Duties
Minimum Qualifications
(May not include all duties performed.)
- Process invoices, expense reports; track and monitor invoice charges against purchase authorizations and purchase requisitions; maintain purchasing records and reconciles; track and report budget information
- Coordinate and manage schedules and appointments; assist with communications; prepare correspondences; provide administrative support; work closely with the CIO, Deputy Director of IT, Solutions Manager, Data Quality Manager, and Data Center Manager to support departmental functions; Facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with inventory management, ensuring accurate records of IT assets; Conduct data entry and maintain databases; Provide general customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders; Supports the CIO, Solutions Manager, Operations Manager, and Data Quality Manager; on day to day departmental operations; Manage and assist in the coordination of travel arrangements for all IT and WeConnect staff; Assist with emergency communications and ensure
accurate dissemination of information during outages - Greet visitors and respond to inquiries from phone calls and emails; provide information of services and
direct callers to appropriate personnel - Perform other related duties as assigned
The employee has exposure to chemical compounds found in an office environment (e.g., toner, correction fluid, etc.). Note: In accordance with the U.S. Department of Labor physical demands strength ratings, this is considered sedentary work
Other Qualifications
Completion of secondary education or equivalent (high school diploma/GED) Previous experience in an IT-related field and/or government preferred Must possess and maintain a valid State of Ohio vehicle operator’s license and remain insurable under the City’s vehicle insurance policy Any combination of education, training and/or experience equivalent to the minimum qualifications stated above
