Description
Gage Marine Corporation is seeking a motivated candidate to join the corporate marketing team as Marketing Coordinator. In this role, the candidate will directly assist the Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing in promoting the tagline "Lake Life Begins with Gage" for various Gage business units, including Gage Marine, Lake Geneva Cruise Line, PIER 290 Restaurant, Lake Life Catering, and the Lake Life Store.
The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing, including graphic design, social media (organic and Meta ads), analytics, SEO, website development, and copywriting. The Marketing Coordinator will manage multiple social media accounts, develop content calendars, create content, and handle comments and messages. They will also assist with campaign management, marketing reporting, graphic design, and administrative tasks related to the marketing department. Candidates must have a high level of motivation and self-drive as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple simultaneous projects, and prioritize tasks based on importance and deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Social Media: Developing strategy, creating content calendars; deciding upon and organizing content for social media posts, reels, and stories on Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Youtube, LinkedIn, Google My Business, and TikTok; managing comments and responses via Hootsuite
- Graphic Design: Creating graphics and marketing materials as needed for print (e.g., postcards, posters) and digital (e.g., social media, email, blogs, website) using Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva
- Copywriting: Writing copy for marketing materials, including social media, blogs, emails, internal communication, etc., within the company's brand and tone of voice
- Blog: Manage the blog calendar and write blogs for all business units
- Email: Manage the email calendar and create email campaigns and automated flows for all business units using Klaviyo
- Company-wide eNewsletter: Working with different company department heads to create and deploy the monthly employee enewsletter on time
- Website Updates: Updating WordPress websites, including making new pages, updating copy and content, and adding events to the calendar
- Marketing Reporting: Pulling analytics from Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Clarity, Google My Business, Klaviyo, Ads Manager, etc. for monthly marketing reports; recommending campaign decisions based on data; creating illustrations or graphs to make the data more digestible
- Brand Authority: Understand and maintain the brand in all marketing
- Working with the Marketing Manager for other projects as necessary, including, but not limited to, updating menus, campaign management, event planning, and special projects
- Working with the Creative Content Manager to schedule photo shoots and create content (photos/videos) for various marketing needs
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, including organic and paid Facebook and Instagram, email, SEO, website updates, blog, and SMS
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required. This individual must work well with the marketing team and other departments, get along with a variety of people, and exhibit proper office etiquette
- The candidate must be self-motivated, highly organized, and have a keen eye for detail. They must also be able to work autonomously on tasks, as well as collaborate with a team
- Candidate must be able to manage multiple projects at once; transition tasks as necessary based on priority, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Must possess excellent internal and external communications skills, computer skills, and organizational and presentation skills
- Strong copywriting, graphic design, and computer skills (including such programs as: MacBook, Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Adobe, CapCut, Hootsuite, Klaviyo)
WORK SCHEDULE
This is an on-site, full-time position; 40 hours per week, year-round. The schedule is Monday-Friday with some evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
