Job Summary:
The Data Analyst core responsibilities are to use Excel, MS-SQL, BigQuery and Tableau to query large data sets and garner insights. The Date Analyst will use technical expertise and communication skills to present understandable insights from data to clients and look for new opportunities to grow our audience data business. As part of the data team the Data Analyst will provide support to various teams across the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Obtain knowledge of our existing data products and services at a level that will allow for excellent communication to both internal and external clients and stakeholders with varying experience and knowledge levels.
- Exhibit subject matter expert level data compilation and fulfillment to enhance and expand data product offering.
- Observe and participate in daily operations required to sustain industry growth.
- Gather and analyze various datasets to provide feedback for improvement.
- Find opportunities to utilize current events to support data analysis.
- Help develop best practices, processes, and procedures to aid in the advancement of the data team.
- Formulate and craft audience data proposals and taxonomies.
- Provide meaningful content and input for the Stirista website.
- Update various databases and assist with data distribution to different platforms.
- Develop relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners by exemplifying the Stirista brand in our industry.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment with multiple demands, shifting priorities, and rapid change.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Report writing, presentation skills and strong oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of MS SQL, Google BigQuery and File Transfer Protocols (FTP and sFTP)
- Knowledge of Tableau and LiveRamp preferred
- Experience working with relational databases and linking various datasheets.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and related software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business- related field is preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience in data analytics using SQL and/or Google BigQuery
