Description

National Trade Supply has an immediate opening for an Order Processing Clerk at our Greenwood, Indiana facility. National Trade Supply is a consumable goods manufacturer of air and water filtration products for your home.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and print pick tickets/batches from the WMS according to daily schedules and priorities.
• Monitor order queues and coordinate with supervisors to determine release timing.
• Group orders into logical batches to optimize picking efficiency.
• Verify that printed batches are accurate, complete, and distributed to the correct picking zones.
• Track released batches and communicate status to warehouse supervisors.
• Troubleshoot printing or WMS errors and escalate issues as needed.
• Assist in maintaining documentation of release procedures and suggest process improvements.
• Work with the warehouse team to adjust priorities based on customer requirements, shipping cutoffs, or urgent orders.

Required:

• High School Diploma, GED, and equivalent experience
• 1–2 years of warehouse, logistics, or order processing experience
• Familiarity with WMS or ERP systems is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, printing systems)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Desire to participate in continuous improvement activities and on-the-job training to enhance skills
• Ability to visually identify quality discrepancies
• Average oral and written communication skills
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

Physical Requirements:

Physical Effort: This position requires long periods of standing up to 8 hours in a 10-hour day. This position also requires repetitive movement of fingers, hands, and arms.
