Position Summary

We are seeking motivated Maintenance Technicians to join our high-performance teams in a 24/7 manufacturing facility. This role is critical to ensuring all equipment and systems operate safely, reliably, and efficiently, directly supporting plant performance in the areas of Safety, Quality, Cost, and Production.

Maintenance Technicians provide hands-on support to keep operations running, with a structured career path that includes cross-training and advancement opportunities. Technicians begin by supporting preventative and corrective maintenance tasks and are expected to grow their technical skills over time, with the goal of advancing to “Tech A” status—qualified to manage, troubleshoot, and maintain highly technical equipment and systems.

 

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Pay: Starting at $35.96/hour, with the opportunity to earn $37.99/hour at Tech A level

Shift & Schedule Highlights

  • 12-hour shifts (day or night)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on:
    • High-speed corrugating machinery
    • Robotic assembly equipment
    • Conveyors and batch mixers
    • Electrical distribution and building automation systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), including Allen-Bradley and Siemens systems, to identify faults and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Diagnose, replace, and calibrate A/C motors, D/C motors, sensors (analog and digital), bearings, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic components
  • Execute scheduled PMs, routine work orders, and respond to emergency work orders within established timelines
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and all company safety protocols
  • Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas
  • Accurately document maintenance work and communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and plant leadership
  • Collaborate across departments and share technical knowledge to strengthen overall team capability
  • Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic

 

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics (highly preferred)
  • Strong background in troubleshooting industrial machinery and controls
  • Mix of electrical and mechanical skills, including hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience in the corrugated packaging or manufacturing industry (preferred)
  • Military training related to maintenance or operations (a plus)
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

 

Education & Qualifications

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED, plus related technical coursework and/or certifications
  • Preferred:
    • 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing facility installing, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and electrical systems
    • Prior experience in the corrugated industry
    • Associate’s degree in industrial maintenance or related field
    • Related military training/experience

  • Able to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds independently.
  • Have good vision (close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception) and hearing consistent with OSHA safety standards.
