Position Summary:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to business leaders and managers, aligning HR practices with organizational goals. This role is responsible for driving employee engagement, supporting leadership development, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. The HRBP collaborates closely with leadership to provide guidance on workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, and talent development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to understand organizational objectives and develop HR strategies that support business goals.

  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, and leadership effectiveness.

  • Support talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning, interviewing, and onboarding.

  • Lead employee engagement initiatives and support programs that enhance culture, retention, and morale.

  • Advise on compensation, promotions, and organizational structure to ensure fairness and alignment with policies.

  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to leadership on trends (turnover, engagement, absenteeism, etc.).

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws as well as company policies.

  • Collaborate with HR centers of excellence (COEs) such as benefits, payroll, and training to implement programs effectively.

  • Facilitate training sessions and development initiatives for managers and staff.

  • Manage investigations into workplace issues and recommend appropriate solutions.

  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a business partner or generalist capacity.

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and strong relationships with managers and employees at all levels.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred
