Job Description:

 

We are looking for an experienced Fabrication Manager to organize and oversee the manufacturing of goods. Ability to ensure that all steps in the fabrication process are completed correctly and on time, while also ensuring that quality standards are met throughout the entire process. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output. Ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader.

Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a great part of your day. The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements.

 

Job Duties:

 

  • Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements.
  • Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
  • Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel.
  • Ensure output meets quality standards.
  • Ability to schedule manpower loading efficiently.
  • Enforce health and safety precautions.
  • Report to upper management.
  • Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff.
  • Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
  • Manage production scheduling to ensure on-time supply different manufacturing entities.
  • Develop organizational capability to identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
  • Ensure fair and consistent treatment of all associates, in accordance with company policies & procedures, as well as employment law.
  • Monitor processes, identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective actions, including deployment of available resources.
  • Monitor, analyze and recommend/implement improvements to better utilize labor, raw materials and equipment.
  • Manage day-to-day production operations and monitor results to ensure alignment with goals.
  • Continuously monitor work areas; identify, resolve, and report safety hazards.
  • Determine and communicate priorities and schedules between potentially conflicting areas.

 

Work Experience:

 

  • Deep knowledge of production management.
  • Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.
  • Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
  • Outstanding communication ability.
  • Excellent organizational and leaderships skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
  • Industry-related experience.
  • Scheduling experience.
  • Microsoft projects experience.
  • Ability to understand drawing mechanical, electrical, and piping drawings.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience.
  • 5+ Years of Relevant Experience.
