Role
The Operations Officer will provide operational and administrative support to the Flight Operations Department, reporting to the Ground Operations Manager.
Duties
The main activities associated with this role will be administrative and will include but are not limited to the following:
- Efficient planning and processing of Company Operations to include route planning, customs & special Branch clearances, foreign operating permits, airport handling, identifying off airport landing sites, landing site surveys and permission, chauffeur cars and catering as required.
- Prepare & send charter quotations
- Prepare & issue crew flight briefs & associated documents
- Organising Company travel - Flights, hotels, car hire and taxis arrangements
- Manage aircraft / crew schedules using Company schedule & roster
- Provide flight following service
- Post paperwork processing & Invoicing
- Answer and respond to telephone & email enquiries
- Please note this role includes shared and rostered evening, weekend and bank holiday on call duty
Requirements
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently with changing priorities
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable
- Preference for candidates experienced or who desire to work within the Aviation Industry, however full training will be provided.
