Cadence 3 is seeking an experienced Livestream/Video Producer to support the production team with management of video projects from client scoping and concept development to fully realized creative execution. The Livestream/Video Producer will take primary responsibility for the technical execution of live event recordings, livestreams, and video shoots
on location and in our Cadence 3 recording studio. This role will also generate
creative concepts, build proposals, manage budgets, and track
schedules for a variety of video projects. They should have a solid foundational understanding of all aspects and departments of traditional video production and live video streaming. Must excel at technical and organizational aspects of production including budgeting, scheduling, on-set management, equipment rentals, signal flow, data management, and post production workflow. We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a digital marketing agency, production company (broadcast/webcast/live action), or entertainment company. This is a great fit for an experienced producer who is a smart, savvy, and self-directed problem solver, and someone who can learn quickly and execute flawlessly. They should have sound judgement, be quick on their feet, and possess exceptional organization and communication skills. Prior experience with live event recording, livestreaming, and video production is necessary.


 



 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Produce, self-manage and execute video
    shoots and post production
    deliverables
    .
    Own and facilitate the project management of all assigned projects — initial info-gathering, distilling and communicating client needs and goals to the creative team member(s) executing the work.

     
  • Create and maintain standard production documents (e.g.
    budgets, schedules, call sheets, production books, talent look books)
     
  • Estimate, manage and track budgets of $25K to $150K+

     
  • Create and manage production schedules that ensure all timelines, deliveries, and feedback stay on track.

    Effectively meet all deadlines by independently prioritizing tasks across multiple projects


     
  • Coordinate and negotiate rates for production resources like talent, crew, equipment, locations, etc.

    Source, book, and manage freelance crew positions on set
     
  • Supervise and direct talent (and crew) on set
    as needed
     
  • Exercise discretion and good judgement in representing the company while regularly interfacing with clients, talent, and crew members regarding scheduling, invoicing, and payment issues

     
  • Manage project-specific duties including, but not limited to, segment producing, asset management, social media management, and script supervision

     
  • Collaborate with core production team to ensure all technical specs complement creative elements

     
  • Collaborate with client teams on segment planning, research, and scripting
    .
    Pitch ideas effectively and turn them into proposal decks


     
  • Manage post-production process and workflow on a project by project basis

     
  • Interact with clients directly and generate new business relationships. Manage client relationships, driving communication over email and during meetings from project inception through final delivery and billing

     
  • Other duties as assigned.

     



 

Qualifications & Skills


 

  • Strong technical understanding of live broadcasting and/or virtual livestream workflows, such as NDI/SDI protocols, virtual recording, live event switching, etc. (Experience with OBS, V-Mix, Zencastr, Tricaster, NDI Tools, or Microsoft Teams NDI is a huge plus) 
  • Experience and/or knowledge with cinema camera operation, sound recording, lighting/grip/rigging, or other on-set departments

     
  • Functional knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere & Media Encoder (After Effects a plus)

     
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office365 Suite, especially Excel (Microsoft Teams ecosystem is a plus)

     
  • Excellent interpersonal skills awith ability to work independently and as part of a team

     
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and effective problem solving  
  • Experience producing creative video packages in the field with a small crew

    with
    a strong sense of how to create a visually compelling and clear story


     
  • Self-starter who can work effectively under deadline pressure while coordinating multiple tasks

     
  • Organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail

     
  • Demonstrated strong oral/written communication skills

     
  • Positive, can-do attitude

     
  • Ability to learn, take direction, and adapt

     
  • Foundation in on-set or in-field audio recording a huge bonus

     
  • Foundation and/or experience in video editing a huge bonus

     



 

Education & Experience


 

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience working in a professional video, film, or multimedia/live production environment or creative agency environment. 
  • Background and education in film production, multimedia, or other creative field. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant industry. 
  • Demonstrated experience on live event, broadcasting, or livestreaming projects. 
  • Practical experience and knowledge of industry standard pre-production, production, and post-production practices.

  • This is a full-time, FLSA exempt (salaried) position.

Working Environment:
