Location - Noida

We are seeking a proactive and motivated Cybersecurity Intern to support our IT Security team. The intern will assist with monitoring security systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and responding to potential threats. This role offers hands-on experience with industry tools and exposure to real-world cybersecurity practices.

Responsibilities:

As a Cybersecurity Intern, you will assist the team in:

  • Monitoring network traffic and security alerts.

  • Performing vulnerability assessments and risk analysis.

  • Assisting in the management of firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.

  • Researching the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.

  • Supporting incident response and investigation efforts.

  • Documenting security procedures and assisting in policy development.

  • Assisting with internal audits and compliance checks (e.g., ISO, NIST, GDPR).

  • Participating in security awareness training and phishing simulations.

  • Collaborating with other IT team members on security initiatives.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and common threats (e.g., malware, phishing, DDoS).

  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and networking basics.

  • Eagerness to learn and a strong interest in cybersecurity.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

  • Knowledge of security tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, Nessus, or Splunk.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA Cyber Ops, etc.) are a plus.
