Manufacturing Engineering Intern (Summer 2026)

Summary: 

The purpose of the internship is to gain applicable engineering career experience in a growing organization. Throughout the internship, you will gain valuable, hands-on experience in several aspects of Manufacturing Engineering.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares documents and reports as required to support Engineers.
  • 3D solid modeling for standard drawings.
  • Daily problem solving to address safety, quality, and delivery issues.
  • Research information relating to processes, materials or equipment as directed.
  • Assists the engineers in planning, problem solving and implementation.
  • Provide support to meet quality objectives as outlined and Company policy and procedures.


Qualifications and Skills:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline at a recognized college or university. Two years of college experience in a mechanical or manufacturing engineering field.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze and interpret the English language. 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must possess basic math skills. Experience with programming logic, and robotics preferred.

REASONING ABILITY: Experience in developing strong work ethic with coursework, professional networks, or internships, flexibility, and fluidity to thrive within a rapidly evolving environment, demonstrate project management capabilities, and strong attention to detail.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Must be proficient with MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook. Experience in Autodesk Inventor preferred.
