Quanex is looking for a Customer Service Supervisor to join our team located in Rice Lake, WI.
The Customer Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the customer service team within the Rice Lake, WI screens division, ensuring the development of strong rapport, communication, and lasting relationships with both internal and external customers. This individual will be skilled in troubleshooting, conflict resolution, and delivering positive outcomes through critical thinking and effective problem-solving strategies.

What Success Looks Like:
- Responsible for developing and implementing standardized processes across the plant related to procedures and guidelines for customers and the order entry team.
- Responsible for establishing priorities and objectives for the Customer Service Department.
- Coordinates and assists in the hedging program.
- Calculates and distributes monthly price changes to customers, recommends price changes, prepares annual price review for all customers while working with sales and coordinates all quoting activities.
- Monitor customer specific inventories and develop programs.
- Assist, develop and utilize the QSS system by training customer service team and ensuring system is being used.
- Serves as dedicated contact for customers and manufacturing plant to resolve issues and build strong relationships.
- Responsible for investigating and addressing customer concerns related to quality, shipping, and invoicing.
- Identifies and implements new processes focused on continuous improvement.
- Responsible for managing a team of 2 or more employees.
Your Credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a senior level customer service representative and/or supervisor in a related field or any appropriate combination of education and experience
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to utilize at all levels of the organization.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
- Good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively, both written and verbal.
The salary range for this position is $53,000 to $79,600 per year w/ bonus potential
