Job Summary:

Become part of the festive excitement at The Ben Hotel’s Winter Wonderland as a Chalet Attendant! In this dynamic seasonal role, you will assist with food and beverage operations during our outdoor ice-skating experience, ensuring guests enjoy delicious offerings while creating lasting memories. As part of the F&B Crew, you will provide exceptional customer service, handle food preparation, and maintain cleanliness and efficiency in all service areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Interaction: Greet and engage guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
  • Order Taking & Processing: Accurately take and process food and beverage orders from guests, whether at kiosks, service counters, or tables.
  • Food & Beverage Preparation: Assist in preparing food and beverage items, including snacks, hot drinks, and festive treats, while following food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Order Delivery: Ensure prompt delivery of food and beverage orders to guests, providing excellent service throughout their experience.
  • Cleanliness & Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness in all food and beverage areas, including outdoor seating, counters, and preparation spaces. Perform cleaning duties as required to keep the environment tidy.
  • Inventory Management: Help stock and replenish supplies, ensuring that all food and beverage items are available and organized.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash and credit card transactions using a POS system in a fast-paced environment. Manage a cash drawer while ensuring accuracy in transactions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow crew members to ensure smooth operations, assisting in various roles as needed across the food and beverage outlets.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for guests and staff.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the manager and assistant managers.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in food and beverage service is a plus, but not required. Strong customer service skills are essential.
  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks such as lifting trays and cleaning.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking effectively and responding to guest needs promptly.
