Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Director for Data Stewardship who is responsible for driving data governance execution for the Global Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Program to ensure data is in right condition to succeed (high quality, secure, compliant, easy to find). This role requires a proven leader with deep expertise in data management, a strong understanding of business data, and the ability to drive significant organizational transformation.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct data assessments for in-scope markets
  • Identify/remediate data quality issues preventing program adoption across systems of record, Enterprise Data Foundation, IBP Data Products during program delivery and sustain
  • Assign security classification, conduct data privacy assessments, ensue access controls in place to reduce risk & meet regulatory compliance
  • Catalog data to ensure business & AI can quickly/easily find it

Compensation & Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $151,200 - $300,000.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 30% of annual salary paid out annually and an additional target payout of 15% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period.
  • Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.
    • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in data management, with at least 5 years in a data governance leadership role (Director level or above) within a large, complex, global matrixed organization.
  • Experience leading data governance initiatives within the CPG or a similar consumer-focused industry is highly preferred.
  • Experience with data governance tools and technologies (e.g., Informatica preferred; Collibra, Alation, Atlan are acceptable).
  • Experience developing and executing strategic roadmaps and lead complex organizational change.
  • Experience building, leading, and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong understanding of Integrated Supply Chain Planning, Financial Planning, and Commercial Planning for large CPG companies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive data quality root cause analysis, remediation, and persistent improvement.
  • Experience with data governance tools and technologies (e.g., Informatica, Collibra, Alation, Atlan).
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including executive-level written and verbal abilities. Proven ability to influence, engage, and drive alignment with stakeholders at all organizational levels globally, ensuring data governance deliverables are prioritized and embedded in plans, and influencing global and local data owners to sponsor DQ issue remediations at source.
  • Strong change management skills to drive the adoption of data governance best practices.
  • Project Management: Proven project management skills to persistently drive data quality improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent networking and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrates an interest in continuous self-learning, is adaptable to changing priorities, and applies outside-in thinking.
  • Ability to transform complex information and diverse data into meaningful insights, conclusions, and executive messaging.
  • Applies a proper level of thoroughness and due diligence to recommendations
