Job Summary
The Lawndale Elementary School District has openings for Special Education Instructional Assistants. We would like to establish a pool to meet staffing needs. These positions are 10-month positions that accumulate one paid vacation and sick day per month of employment. LESD provides a $1,000 per year career enrichment program for employees. Required Documents
Applicants must have a high school diploma (or its recognized equivalent) and pass an academic assessment test (conducted/provided by LESD). 48 Units or an Associates (or greater) degree from an accredited college/university is preferred. Some experience in working with school-age children in an organized setting is desirable.
Requirements / Qualifications
We currently have vacancies at our Elementary and Middle school sites.
Various positions: 14 hrs/week, 28.5 hrs/week, and 30 hrs/week (Monday - Friday)
