POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for a Travel Coordinator to assist with coordinating travel for the UAA, including booking airline, hotel, and vehicle reservations in compliance with UAA policies and applicable regulations. May be responsible for submitting weekly ARC reports, performing monthly credit card reconciliations, and managing documentation related to the in-house travel department (CTD).

This position requires the incumbent to have strong administrative, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills; be organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated; work independently and as part of a collaborative team; multitask effectively; engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds, including high energy, intense personalities; and work a non-standard work week which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum three years of experience booking air, cars, and hotels for individuals and groups

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Detailed knowledge Worldspan or similar airline GDS system
