Job Summary: The part-time Development Data Coordinator supports Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City’s fundraising and community engagement efforts through accurate management of donor and volunteer data. This role is responsible for database administration, donor acknowledgements, financial reconciliation support, reporting, and clerical assistance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Database & Donor Management
- Enter all donor and gift information accurately into the CRM (Giveffect).
- Maintain donor data for gift records and pledges to ensure accurate processing, tracking, reporting, and acknowledgement.
- Generate and mail donor acknowledgement and receipt letters consistently and on time.
- Pull mailing lists and data for solicitations, annual reports, events, and other communications.
- Create, generate, and maintain CRM reports as needed.
- Partner with Finance to reconcile donations monthly to ensure accuracy of records.
- Coordinate ongoing database cleanup and quality assurance processes.
Volunteer Management
- Manage the volunteer CRM, including creating shifts and reservations.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc volunteer reports.
- Support volunteer appreciation events, home dedications, training, and other special events.
General Support
- Assist with data and finance-related activities as assigned.
- Provide clerical and office support as needed.
- Support community engagement events as needed.
Requirements
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- 2 years of experience with Database management.
- Minimum of one-year relevant work experience including but not limited to: data entry/administrative assistance.
- Ability to meet deadlines, use time efficiently, and prioritize.
- Ability to work independently and work as an effective team member.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to write professional documents.
- Outstanding customer service skills with an ability to work in other departments and donors.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with GiveEffect or other CRM preferred.
