We’re seeking a Senior Copywriter with 7+ years of agency or corporate experience, a strong background in both B2C and B2B marketing and/or a demonstrated ability to originate, revise, and edit compelling copy across a myriad of mediums. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and consult with senior leaders, creative designers, and business partners to deliver creative content solutions that inspires action. This role also works with the writing team on a day-to-day basis to coach, provide guidance, feedback, enhance engagement, and identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance team efficiencies. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a strategic thinker, strong collaborator, and bring branding best practices to every engagement. 

 

How you will create impact:

  • Lead and co-create creative strategy that delivers on the creative brief.
  • Be responsible for writing of creative that brings engagement and enhances brand voice.
  • Craft well-written copy that is clear and concise across all channels, ensuring key messaging is client centric, insights led, and aligned with strategic goals.
  • Can present and articulate concepts to internal partners. Will proactively develop, troubleshoot, and demonstrate solution orientation when creating recommendations.
  • Work closely with the writing team to deliver all copy, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all messaging to the agreed briefs and established brand guidelines.
  • Coach and provide direction/feedback to other content developers on topic, style, and tone of voice to ensure work is of the highest quality.
  • Can juggle multiple projects (multitask), prioritize, and meet rigorous deadlines while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, in all assignments.

To join our team:

  • You have 7+ years of experience writing in an advertising agency or corporation.
  • You have a post-secondary degree or equivalent in Journalism or Copywriting.
  • Superior formatting skills in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and PowerPoint.
  • Impeccable spelling, grammar, and editing skills.
  • Experience with media marketing tactics across all mediums (print, digital, out of home, TV/video, radio, etc.) as well as paid and owned channels.
  • Able to accept feedback with grace.
  • Able to interpret data from marketing campaigns to create compelling messaging.
  • Detail-oriented and hyper-efficient with time management.
  • Strong portfolio of work.
