Accounts Payable Specialist (Temporary) at 511 Tactical

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for analyzing and processing a high volume of invoices, maintaining accurate records, and supporting audits and month-end close. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What You'll Do

• Process and analyze invoices with accuracy and efficiency while meeting performance metrics

• Support month-end close, audits, and ad-hoc projects

• Open and process mail, scan checks, obtain bank signatures, and prepare checks for mailing (when in office)

• Provide supporting documentation for audits and respond to external auditor inquiries

What You Bring

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience (A/P or accounting certification a plus)

• 4–6 years of accounts payable experience

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas) required

• Experience with ERP accounting systems (NetSuite, Dynamics 365 preferred)

• Knowledge of merchandise factory payment systems (Trade Card, GT Nexus/Infor) a plus

• Ability to use 10-key by touch

Pay Range: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
