Summary:
This position works to ensure shipping/receiving tasks, inventory management, route scheduling, machine allocation, and the loading and unloading of freight are all done safely, correctly, and in a timely manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Pull, weigh, package, ship, and/or receive supplies and parts.
- Use EA daily for a variety of functions within the warehouse(s).
- Effectively use and understand UPS/FedEx software to accurately enter and track orders/shipments and produce summary reporting on request.
- Use proper packaging methods and interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements.
- Maintain organized inventory and dock area.
- Conduct inventory cycle counting and reporting, monthly inventory accounting, and reorder quantity vendor releases notification.
- Aid with equipment set-up within our local shop.
- Provide support for emergency deliveries, pick up of used equipment from customer locations, or pick up locally acquired parts, tools, and equipment.
- Assist on deliveries as needed.
- Adhere to and follow all company policies, procedures, and governmental regulations.

- Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned.

Work Environment:
- Work is performed indoors (warehouse) and outdoors.
- Up to 20% of the time will be spent traveling to/from local client locations to assist with deliveries and pick up equipment
- May be required to sit or stand for long periods
- Lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, up to 70 pounds occasionally
- Move 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Push / Pull 50 pounds frequently and up to 175 pounds occasionally
- Exposure to shop and equipment elements including noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils, and chemicals.
Desired Knowledge/ Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years related experience
- Shipping / Receiving processes and practices
- Safety procedures and practices in a warehouse environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents, procedures, and manuals
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers both verbally and in writing
- Proficiency with email and other software programs
- Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
Language Skills:
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, invoices, SOP, and instructions; write routine reports and correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one situations and small group situations to customers or vendors, and other employees.
Math Skills:
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ratio, and percent and draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Identifies problems, gathers information, and offers solutions.
Computer Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required. Proficiency with email is required.
