About the Position
Reporting to the East Tennessee Regional Director, the East Tennessee Case Management Coordinator supports ASP’s home repair, construction, and disaster recovery in East Tennessee. This role ensures efficient case management, compliance with grant requirements, and coordination with staff, families, and community partners to deliver timely and compassionate housing solutions.
Job Responsibilities
Case Management
- Promote ASP including, but not limited to attending Long Term Recovery Group and other community outreach meetings.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical case files.
- Guide families through application, vetting, and selection processes.
- Coordinate homeowner communications, paperwork, and customizations.
- Maintain a steady pipeline of qualified applicants.
- Share homeowner stories with Advancement for fundraising.
- Assist with dedication ceremonies and homeowner engagement.
- Ensure respectful, timely, and accurate communication.
- Maintain records and update databases (e.g., ASPire, SharePoint).
Grant Compliance
- Track and support grant reporting and compliance.
- Collect and manage documentation (e.g., income verification, photos).
- Monitor deadlines and ensure team awareness.
- Perform or coordinate environmental reviews.
- Collaborate with Accounting for reimbursement submissions.
Training & Curriculum
- Support the development and delivery of community trainings on disaster recovery.
Construction & Field Operations
- Support readiness of ASP’s East Tennessee Hub for construction and disaster response.
- Help maintain the Appalachian Highlands Volunteer and Training Center.
- Communicate effectively with other ASP departments and field teams.
- Assist in local Summer Repair Program planning and operations.
Administrative Support
- Keep procedure manuals current.
- Participate in evaluations, budgeting, and ongoing training.
- Collaborate with other departments and fulfill additional duties as needed.
Candidate Description
Required:
- Commitment to working in a Christian service environment.
- 1+ year experience in grant compliance or case management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Empathy, teamwork, and ability to manage multiple tasks
Desired:
- Background in non-profit, social work, or behavioral health.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and quality standards.
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Successful background check.
