POSITION SPECIFICS
Reports To: Production Supervisor
FLSA Status: Hourly
ROLE
SUMMARY
Facilitates accuracy with product portioning by collecting Actual Versus Theoretical Data (AvT) of components used to build sandwiches and other food products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
· Verify that the correct size scoops are being used, per the MPS.
· Record data pertaining to weights.
· Calculate actual consumption by using the AvT procedure.
· Communicate with the Lead and Supervisor when there is a variance from the standard.
· Assist in addressing associates when correction to portioning is necessary.
· Ensure that the corrective measures are implemented no more than 5 minutes after discovery.
· Maintain a continuous line of communication with slicing to insure that sliced meats are within range.
· Submit completed paperwork, notes and corrective measures (when applicable) to Quality Assurance at the end of every shift.
· Other duties as assigned.
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 months of related experience and/or training are required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work is performed in a refrigerated environment with temperatures about 38 degrees and while performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
REQUIRED TRAINING
This position requires training on Good Manufacturing Practices critical to the effective implementation of the Food Safety Plan and the maintenance of food safety, quality and process efficiency. Training is also required
on how to identify food safety issues such as temperature control, cross-contamination, sanitation and cleanliness of the lines, etc., critical to the effective implementation of the Food Safety Plan and the maintenance of food safety, quality and process efficiency.
