About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight operations to ensure reliable, efficient service delivery that meets and exceeds customer expectations. A key focus will be on driving customer growth and retention by fostering strong relationships and delivering measurable value through strategic initiatives.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Manage LTL Freight: Oversee Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight operations to ensure seamless service delivery for customers.
  • Customer Growth & Retention: Drive the growth and retention of LTL customers through strategic engagement and value-driven initiatives.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze performance data to uncover actionable insights and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Customer Reviews: Conduct monthly reviews with customers to evaluate performance against targets, identify areas for improvement, and propose cost-reduction strategies while maintaining exceptional service levels.
  • Service Expansion: Proactively engage customers on new services and explore cross-selling opportunities to enhance their experience
  • Case Studies: Develop case studies to showcase successes and highlight best practices.

Basic Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in LTL-focused account management or operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of delivering results for high-growth customers.
  • Experience in leading sales or account management teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace tools.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Salesforce, Groove, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
