JOB SUMMARY:
Leads agile sourcing efforts that strengthen vendor partnerships, speed up customer delivery, and boost competitive positioning.
POSITION DETAILS:
- Salaried, in-office position at our corporate office in Eclectic, AL (approximately 35-45 minutes from Alexander City, Montgomery, or Auburn, AL)

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Craft pricing and promotional strategies that drive visibility and sell-through for new or underperforming products and services
- Develop estimated cost quotes early in the sales process, often with limited specifications, to accelerate response to customer inquiries
- Prepare timely and accurate delivered cost quotes, including all associated expenses, such as freight, tariffs, and duties
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve quote turnaround time and win rates
- Actively gather feedback from customers and internal teams on pricing and product offerings to ensure quality and competitiveness
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Operations to align category strategies with promotional campaigns and brand communications
- Work cross-functionally with sales, procurement, CX, and marketing teams to align sourcing and promotional efforts
- Partner with Customer Experience and Procurement teams to deliver accurate product specifications and samples to both clients and factories
- Collaborate with sales to identify and select vendors for sourcing equipment, materials, and goods
- Negotiate pricing and lead times with suppliers to maintain competitive advantage
- Support positive vendor relationships and assist with issue resolution
- Proactively identify and qualify new vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and competitiveness
- Monitor global sourcing trends and supply chain changes to proactively adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge
- Design and maintain a vendor database organized by material, geography, and specialty
- Track and coordinate customer requests and project status using tools like Asana and NetSuite
- Prepare reports and assist with special projects as assigned
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Business Development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience required
- 3+ years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, or procurement; Experience in packaging, manufacturing, or logistics desired
- Strong understanding of landed cost modeling, including tariffs, freight, duties, and related expenses
- Some accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience in an ERP software system required; Experience in NetSuite (Oracle) desired
- Competencies utilized: active listening, critical thinking, decision making, negotiation, persuasion, service orientation, problem solving, time management, attention to detail
- Up to 20% Travel required
