  • Drive project planning, sprint execution, and timely delivery of high-quality releases.

  • Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and inclusive engineering culture.

  • Partner with product and architecture teams to define technical direction and roadmap priorities.

  • Set goals, mentor team members, conduct regular performance check-ins, and support career development.

  • Champion engineering excellence in test coverage, automation, and system resilience.

  • Identify opportunities for process and infrastructure improvement, especially in CI/CD, performance testing, and system observability.

  • Manage operational health and technical debt, while delivering features aligned to company goals.

About You

  • 2+ years of experience in a people management or team lead role within software engineering.

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience developing production software, ideally in Python or Go.

  • Strong understanding of Linux-based development and systems-level software.

  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing engineering teams.

  • Experience in Agile environments and familiarity with tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and Docker.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills (both verbal and written)

  • Working knowledge of networking concepts or experience with network-connected hardware or appliances.

Bonus Experience

  • Experience managing teams building embedded systems, hardware-integrated software, or virtual appliances.

  • Familiarity with AWS or other public cloud environments.

  • Experience collaborating with engineering teams across multiple timezones.

  • Exposure to performance testing and optimization at the hardware/software interface.

  • Experience with infrastructure as code or configuration management tools.

  • Background in cybersecurity, security operations, or highly regulated industries.
