Job Title: Senior Staff Engineer - DevOps, Digital Business

About the Role: 

To architect, implement, and optimize the core infrastructure of our OTT platform, focusing on Amazon EKS and AWS cloud-native technologies. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who thrives on solving complex infrastructure challenges at scale while building high-performing, reliable, and secure systems. 

You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our Infrastructure on AWS, Kubernetes-based deployments, ensuring robust CI/CD pipelines, and driving AWS optimizations to support millions of users. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Architect and manage Amazon EKS clusters for high availability, scalability, and performance in production. 

• Design cloud-native solutions on AWS, leveraging services like EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, and ALB/ELB. 

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Terraform, Helm, and AWS CloudFormation. 

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD, ensuring zero-downtime releases. 

• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and AWS CloudWatch. 

• Optimize Kubernetes networking, Ingress, and service discovery with Helm, Istio, or Linkerd. 

• Lead security implementations, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance automation. 

Technical Expertise: 

• Amazon EKS: Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes on AWS, with experience managing large-scale EKS clusters in production. 

• Proficiency with key AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFront, ALB/ELB, and VPCs. 

• Hands-on experience optimizing costs and performance for AWS workloads. 

• Containerization: Deep expertise with Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes networking concepts (e.g., CNI, Ingress). 

• Infrastructure Automation: Strong experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Pulumi. 

• CI/CD Pipelines: Advanced experience building and managing CI/CD workflows for Kubernetes-based applications. 

• Networking & Load Balancing: Strong knowledge of load balancers (ALB/ELB), DNS, and CDN optimizations for high-traffic systems. 

• Programming: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash for automation and tooling. 

Experience: 

• 10+ years in platform engineering or DevOps roles, with 5+ years of experience in AWS and Kubernetes. 

• Proven track record of managing infrastructure for high-traffic systems. 

Soft Skills: 

• Ability to work independently in a high-impact, hands-on role. 

• Strong communication and technical documentation skills to interact with cross-functional teams. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in the OTT or video streaming industry,
