We are currently seeking a motivated Sales Intern (Summer 2026) who will work with our Sales teams to gain hands-on B2B sales experience within the building materials industry. The Sales Intern will support the sales team with various aspects of the sales process, including customer engagement, order processing, and market research. This role offers exposure to Inside Sales functions and product knowledge, as well as wholesale distribution operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Supports Sales with customer follow-up, quoting, and order entry.
- Learns various product line information to assist with product inquiries and recommendations.
- Analyzes customer buying patterns and suggests opportunities for upselling.
- Attends sales meetings and training sessions to gain a better understanding of the sales cycle.
- Conducts market research on competitors and trends.
- Supports the coordination of promotional campaigns and sales materials.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management or related field
- Strong interest in sales, distribution, and the construction/building materials industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated
- Cooperative and collaborative team player
- Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Legally permitted to work in the United States
