The Yoder Family of Companies is seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk to join our Yoder Support team. This role is essential to ensuring accuracy in our receivables process, supporting our accounting team, and delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers.

As an AR Clerk, you will process payments, reconcile accounts, prepare reports, and assist with customer inquiries. What You’ll Do

  • Process and record incoming payments; prepare and send AR statements/invoices.

  • Reconcile credit card accounts (Visa, MC, Amex, Discover, etc.) and report discrepancies.

  • Verify deposits and cash balancing envelopes; enter bulk deposits into the system.

  • Code AR checks and route to GL Accountant for deposit.

  • Follow up on past-due accounts, issue collection letters, and make collection calls as needed.

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding accounts receivable.

  • Review and reconcile schedules and customer accounts, correcting errors and reporting issues.

  • Print, process, and send monthly AR statements.

  • Assist with other accounting duties as assigned.


What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • 1–3 years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience preferred.

  • Strong keyboard and 10-key skills.

  • Attention to detail with strong analytical and multitasking abilities.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and Windows.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work well on a team and provide positive customer service.
